The Ithaca Ballet, founded in 1961, is Upstate New York's only repertory company and the resident ballet company at the State Theatre. The ballet is a pre-professional ensemble corps, having a varied repertoire of classical and contemporary works.

June 2, 2012 7:00 PM State Theatre Ithaca On June 2, 2012, the Ithaca Ballet will celebrate its 50th Anniversary with a very special evening of performances at the State Theatre! Professional alumni dancers will join current Ithaca Ballet Company members to perform pieces from the ballet's repertoire spanning 50 years of dance in our community! Curtain rises at 7:00 PM. Immediately following the show, we will have a reception on the stage of the State Theatre. This event promises to be part-reunion, part-celebration of dance in our community--not to be missed! More details will be posted here as the event nears. Tickets are $20 for adults; children 13 and under admitted free of charge.
