Production & Stage Manager
Courtney McGuireCourtney began working with the Ithaca Ballet in 2004 as a way to give back to the ballet while her daughter, Sarah Olsen, was dancing. She had been an athlete all her life, but being part of the ballet was never something she thought she would be doing. In the beginning, she and her partner would volunteer to help backstage with props and sets. Over time she has become a permanent part of the Ithaca Ballet crew! |

Properties Manager
Janet OlsenJanet's dedication to the ballet company is evident in the quality and care of all prop's large and small. What started out as a volunteer position many years ago as a parent’s way to give back to the ballet quickly became a kinship with Alice Reid. Alice appointed Janet to the role of Properties Manager for the Ithaca Ballet. In Alice's honor, the small props for many of the shows are still kept in the tattered, duct taped boxes she crafted over many years. |
