CINDY REID

School Director; Artistic Director the Ithaca Ballet; danced with ABTII, formerly the Ballet Repertory Co. Of NYC, also soloist of Ruth Page’s Chicago NUTCRACKER for three seasons; studied on full scholarship at American Ballet Theatre School with Valentina Pereyaslavec, Leon Danilien, Patricia Wilde, also at Joffrey School, at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, with Larry Long in Chicago, Ballet Guild, and with her mother, Alice Reid at the Village School.

MEREDITH CONROY

Studied gymnastics and dance growing up in Pennsylvania. Studied ballet with Eugenia Wacker-Hoeflin in college. BS and MS from Ithaca College in physical therapy, works as a pediatric PT for the Franziska Racker Centers. Has appeared in dance productions with the Kitchen Theatre Company and Ithaca Ballet.

SAMANTHA IDDINGS

Trained at Ballet Center, Ithaca Ballet; further studies at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet; danced professionally at North Carolina Dance Theatre and Tulsa Ballet. Currently teaching at Armstrong School of Dance and Ithaca Ballet Company class and Advanced Pointe.

GUNILLA LIEBERMAN

Studied ballet at the Royal Swedish Academy, completing Syllabi 1, 2 and 3, and with Vergiu Cornea at Ithaca College, and with the Ballet Guild of Ithaca; Choreographer of several children’s ballets, as well as for Regional Dance America Festivals.

AMANDA MORETTI

Studied modern ballet in fine arts program at York Univ., Toronto; BA in dance from Noropa Institute, Boulder, Colo.; free lance dancer choreographer in Montreal for 12 years; taught extensively dance movement to children in Montreal, Hawaii, & Ithaca.

RACHEL MYERS

Trained at the Ballet Center of Ithaca and Ithaca Ballet. BFA in ballet from University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music (CCM); additional training with Deidre Carberry (ABT), Jillana, Maria Calegari (NYCB), Vivi Flindt (Royal Danish Ballet); danced with Kentucky Ballet Theatre, Ballet Theare Midwest and Ithaca Ballet; has taught at Bluegrass Youth Ballet.

MIRANDA STRICHARTZ

BA from Cornell University; MA in English from SUNY Albany; Ballet teacher for adults and children for 20 plus years. Studied primarily with Naomi Richardson Strichartz, Eugenia Wacker-Hoeflin, and Danita Rideout.

JOHANN STUDIER

Studied at Marin Ballet school; danced at Marin Ballet Company, and Houston Ballet and as guest Artist with the Ithaca Ballet since 2003. Currently teaching boy’s class and partnering classes at the Ballet Center.

Prairie wentworth-nice

Studied at Budzynski Studios of Ballet in Pennsylvania: also attended summer programs at The Rock School and the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and continued at Swarthmore College. Holds a BA in mathematics and physics from Swarthmore College, and an MS in mathematics from Cornell University.
